Ils ne joueront que des titres de l'ère Dio.

HEAVEN AND HELL — the new band featuring legendary heavy metal singer Ronnie James Dio (DIO, BLACK SABBATH, RAINBOW) alongside original BLACK SABBATH members Tony Iommi and Geezer Butler, plus drummer Vinny Appice (DIO, BLACK SABBATH) — has confirmed to TotalRock that it will only be playing songs from the Dio era of BLACK SABBATH on its upcoming world tour. The group will put together its live show from the "Heaven And Hell", "Mob Rules" and "Dehumanizer" albums, plus three new songs written and recorded for the upcoming compilation album "Black Sabbath: The Dio Years".

Dommage quand on sait à quel point une version de "black sabbath" ou de "NIB" chantée par DIO peut enterrer l'originale!

Ah oui quel dommage, peut etre que Sharon n'a pas laissé toucher au repertoire Sabb version Ozzy, en plus de les empecher de prendre le nom Black Sabbath.

Iommi: "With Dio... well, nothing's out of the question. I think... we actually talked about it when everybody was at my house here, when we were recording these three tracks. We said 'bloody hell, we could record an album at the moment' and we had to sort of stop ourselves at three songs. And at first, the record company didn't want to put three songs, and anyways, we sort of said 'we've got to have three songs', but we were already together, we could have done it and who knows? I mean, it would be nice to do an album I think. I think whatever comes now to just take it and do it, you know; I've got no boundaries at all."

MetalEater.com: What about the possibility of a live CD and/or DVD from the tour?

Iommi: "Yes, we're talking about that, we're talking about doing that on this tour. And that would be nice to do that, I think it would be good to have that... I think the fans would like that."

Je serai normalement au show de Montréal le 27 mars 2007... en tout cas, j'ai les places... j'ai une envie folle de voir ce Black Sabbath feat- Dio ! Surtout que Megadeth et la moitié de Pantera fera la première partie.

moi je vais les voirs aussi, avec motörhead et saxon en première partie^^ je trouve juste dommage qu'ils ne vont pas jouer de chansons de l'ère ozzy mais bon...

Si tu veux ca, tu patientes un peu et tu verras avec Ozzy :lol:

Si Dio est revenu avec Iommy c'est pour jouer leur repertoire commun et surtout pas un autre :wink:

(le repertoire Dio/Iommy est assez consequent :wink:

Bah, comme dit plus haut, Dio reprendrait à merveille et certainement bien mieux le répertoire du zombie d'MTV.

J'espère franchement que Iommi ne s'entichera jamais plus de Osbourne. Je me réjouis de cette nouvelle collaboration avec Dio, c'était inespéré il y a à peine 18 mois.
