For Those About To Rock ».

A year and a half after a remarkable first visit, it’s with a big stage production that AC/DC returns to the Montreal Forum, a legendary arena with 16,000 seats, home of the famous Montreal Canadiens ice hockey team. Like all dates on the Cannon and Bell Tour, this concert, originally scheduled for September 30, was postponed to December 12, 1981, due to delays in the release of the "For Those About To Rock" album. Photos and audio recordings, from the first bell sound to the encore with T.N.T. , HighwayToACDC teleports you into the furnace of the Forum, contrasting with the harsh winter weather in Quebec. Un été à Montréal / Montreal Summer : Flick of the Switch Tour

December 12, 1981 - December 16, 1983, two years have passed and AC/DC returns to the stage of the Montreal Forum. With Fastway of "Fast" Eddie Clarke as guest, the group is promoting "Flick of the Switch", released two months earlier. You’ll witness Simon Wright's first stage steps, since this concert, one of the last dates of the American tour, was filmed by an amateur camera. Three tracks from the last album will be played that evening, « Guns For Hire », « Flick of The Switch », and « Bedlam In Belgium », a little gem that Europeans will do without, a year later.
Thanks Luc Vidal For his wonderful black & white pictures.

Who Made Who Tour

No concert in Quebec in 1985: like in France, the Belle Province was shunned by the "Fly on the Wall Tour 85-86" which only stopped one evening in Canada, in Toronto. So it was not until the fall of 1986, on September 13, that AC/DC finally returned to Montreal for a date of its "Who Made Who Tour".
After the japanese band Loudness, four Angus look-alikes have the honor of opening the all-new Australian-Scottish show that ignites a Forum entirely dedicated to the cause of a super-fit group. Hailing a relatively original set-list, the audience is wild from start to finish, as evidenced by the soundtrack and video footage of the fully filmed concert. Thanks again to Luc Vidal for his wonderful photos.

Blow Up Your Video Tour

It’s with almost the same stage production as two years earlier - with the exception of a missile coming out of the bowels of the stage for the opening title “Heatseeker” - that AC/DC returns to the Montreal Forum on the 6th. September 1988. A stage of his "Blow Up Your Video Tour" which remains to this day the most important tour of the group in North America, with more than one hundred and twenty concerts! Once again, in his beautiful red suit, Angus dynamites the Forum.
AC / DC would play in this hall three more times during the 90s, before moving to the brand new Molson Center and then to the Olympic Stadium ... but that’s another story.
Luc Vidal still offers us sumptuous shots, and his testimony on his photographic years. Many thanks for that here.
